Duratek Équipements Inc. manufacturer of top-of-the-line excavation and material handling equipment, warrants all of its products to be free from defects in workmanship, materials and workmanship before delivery to the original purchaser only, under normal use and service.
Manufacturer’s warranty coverage period
- 12 months and an unlimited number of hours from the date of invoicing to the initial purchaser of the equipment.
If one of our products is defective during this period and is only approved by our warranty department at Duratek Équipements inc.
- Duratek Équipements inc. will replace the defective equipment and/or part at its own expense.
- Repairs must be carried out by Duratek Équipements inc. and/or an authorized agent with prior written agreement of the repair procedure and a warranty number.
- Any repair performed without the written authorization of Duratek Équipements inc. will be deemed invalid without warranty number.
If a repair or claim must be made by the original purchaser during the manufacturer’s warranty period.
- Duratek Équipements inc. authorizes repairs only with a written agreement of the repair procedure and a warranty number.
- All charges and/or billing must be in reference to a Duratek Équipements inc. warranty number, otherwise the original purchaser will be responsible for the charges.
- Any defective part or component must be returned to Duratek Équipements inc. head office for analysis and compensation, if applicable.
Duratek Équipements inc. warranty limitations and exclusions.
- The warranty is based on normal use of the equipment.
- Any defect resulting from negligence, abuse, accident, mishandling, modification or improper use.
- Modification of the tool without authorization and/or alteration of the original components.
- Any product or part not manufactured by Duratek Équipements inc.
- All transport costs.
- Blatant lack of equipment maintenance.
- Any loss of time, revenue, mileage or productivity incurred by the purchaser.
- Any repair carried out by anyone without the authorization or without a quotation approved by Duratek Équipements inc.
- This warranty is not transferable.
- Oil, lubricant and hoses.
- Hydraulic system contamination.
N.B. A warranty claim for a part or component does not extend the warranty period.
